+ Business Development Manager is responsible for development of business
strategies, identification and development of new business opportunities and
managing existing businesses ensuring consistent and rapid growth in sales and
market position and revenue maximization across all sales channels through
which the company is operating or should be operating.
+ Be responsible for company business development.
+ Oversees the day-to-day management and operations of the Business +
Development team, while maintaining focus on the business strategic goals and
financial objectives.
+ Devises, develops and regularly maintains business strategies, short- and
long-term business goals, sales plans, tactics and programs based on the budget,
potential of market, target customers, consumer needs, competitors, resources
and abilities.
+ Cooperates on set up of sales plans, financial plans and budget, and tracks
business performance versus budgets, ensuring achievement of plans despite
variances/challenging operating environment.
+ Identifies and implements new business opportunities and approaches across
the new clients and businesses, campaigns, services, distribution channels, sales
teams and the markets that will lead to an increase in sales.
+ Using knowledge of the market, competitors, target customers, sales channels
and partners, identifies and develops the company’s unique selling proposition
and differentiators.
+ Analyzes existing approaches to the development of business and makes or
initiates to the company changes where appropriate.
+ Works closely with KAC and Sales Managers on identification of strategic
and key partners and partnership development to leverage their existing
networks and customer databases, and ensures for the company favorable and
profitable cooperation.
+ Monitors existing customer’s and partner’s satisfaction to ensure service
delivery and makes or initiates to the company changes where appropriate to
keep them satisfied and positive about company service and relationship.
+ Attends market and partner events, such as association events and
conferences, to identify new market trends and business opportunities, new
possible partnerships, etc.+ Closely cooperates and reviews with all teams within Marketing & Product
department, KAC, Sales Managers and other departments implementation of
all changes (in products, processes, systems, training, sales approach, etc.) with
direct impact on further business development, business strategic goals, selling
proposition, selling differentiators, distribution channels, relationship with
partners, target customers, etc.
+ Sets performance goals/targets (KPI) for the whole Business Development
team, and monitors performance of each team member on a continual basis.
+ Evolves and trains the business development team to ensure their superior
performance, and personal and career development for each team member.
+ Participate in other relevant projects assigned by Consumer Division
Director. -
